August Desktop
August 24, 2007
One of my favorite photographers, Anne Ruthmann, makes a point to post a new desktop background each month that people can download. I think this is a fabulous idea, so I’m going to start doing the same! Look for a new on next week, since there’s only one week left in August. Obviously if you’ve seen one flower you haven’t seen them all. Beautiful…

I love the idea of having your photos as my desktop! great idea. your flowers are so stunning … I think everybody kinda does flowers their own way, you know? you’ve got a very interesting color palette, somehow it’s kind of unusual. really great.

So I remember you and I were once having this conversation with H, and she mentioned that she loved taking photographs of flowers because it was like having a free model at all times. Or I guess models (emphasis on that s). I’m also thinking of the differences in the way you both make photographs happen. I love that both you and her could take a photograph of the same flower in a different way. This reminds me of that. Just cuz it does.
